Part of English cricketing history Newbery are still one of the world’s top bat manufacturers. Established in 1981 by John Newberywho was already a top bat maker created a brand synonymous with cricket around the world, supporting international cricketers such as Mike Gatting, Ashwell Prince, Toby Roland-Jones, Liam Plunkett&Clare Connor. They also support the USA cricket team as an ICC associate team.
The Master 100 first made it’s appearance in the 1980’s when Mike Gatting scored his highest test score of 207 vs India. It has recently been re-made with its iconic branding & traditional profile being augmented with modern day bat making techniques for superb all-round performance& used by Namibia & Sussex batsman David Wiese.

Shaping: Concaved for balance giving a pronounced spine the full length of the bat. Width & length of sweet-spot is maximised in combination with a bowed blade for extra power & improved pickup.
Handle: High quality 6-piece Singapore cane, with semi-oval handle, ideal for natural bottom hand location &for players looking for control & power.
Toe: Square style toe with rounded corners & angled for more comfortable positioning during set up. Factory fitted toe guard
Grip: Comes with black scale grip for lighter feel.
Finish: Comes pre-prepared from factory with extra press& anti-scuff sheet with fibre tape edge. Require further knocking so please consult our guides for more information.
