Part of English cricketing history Newbery are still one of the world’s top bat manufacturers. Established in 1981 by John Newbery who was already a top bat maker created a brand synonymous with cricket around the world, supporting international cricketers such as Mike Gatting, Ashwell Prince, Toby Roland-Jones, Liam Plunkett & Clare Connor. They also support the USA cricket team as an ICC associate team.

The Velo GT forms part of the heritage range & is based on the original GT profile, designed as a Small adult size which sits between SH & Harrow. Updated using modern graphics & the most up to date bat making techniques to provide a powerful all-round profile with exceptional pick up.

Overview: Mid to high blade profile with minimal concaving & duck bill toe aiding balance. Designed as a Small adult size which sits between SH & Harrow.
Powerzone: Mid to high blade, perfect for front all round attacking shots & playing the ball on the rise. Well balanced for punchy strokes on both front & back foot
Shaping: Sparingly concaved with a soft spine which flows into a duck billed toe removing mass furthest away from the hands for balance & pickup.
Handle: High quality 6-piece Singapore cane, with semi-oval handle, ideal for natural bottom hand location & for players looking for control & power.
Toe: Square style toe with rounded corners & angled for more comfortable positioning during set up. Factory fitted toe guard
Grip: Comes with white scale grip for lighter feel.
